You should really check out http://museumbox.e2bn.org/ This is a great interactive way to present the many "dimentions of art."

I would like to find a team of people who would like to work together to make this art history course pop. I know that there are many ways to bring the new technologies to enhance learning. I know that there are teachers out there who would like to design application projects for the micro lessons and I know there are teachers of music who would not only find the music to enhance each micro lesson but would also help students of the micro lessons begin to play a flute and create there own songs inspired by the micro lesson they have just learned.
my email is kbolmanahaa@gmail.com, Skype Katherine Bolman and if you are really excited about ahaafoundation.org my home phone is 808 941-4242

I think there should be one website that can do all of this in one place. You can play by looking at one of the micro-lessons (bet you did not know the great art of Prehistoric Africa) and contacting me.

This site will be the largest collection of images of art around the world that is organized into a course with projects for students to do and music for them to hear.

I am concerned about the lack of art history in high schools because of the expense. So, I have started working on the problem. Take a look at www.ahaafoundation.org and see if you get a feeling of art and visual culture coming together.
Aloha all

Hey Folks,

If you didn't get a chance to read about Marek's international comics exchange between elementary students in Nicaragua and New Hampshire - take a gander. He drew a fascinating and inspiring comics journal about the project.

Click here for the full story - loaded with fun pictures!

Shelbie, that sounds really interesting - maybe if you post the article in this discussion forum (above) as a PDF or plain text with some questions it will be easy for people to give some feedback below the article - I can direct folks to the article as well. Share away!
