Comment by Ryan Goble on November 24, 2009 at 3:11pm: Hey Jim - This is great - you know if you'd like you can ALWAYS make a comment like that up above in the discussion forum - that way it is easier for people to find and you can add screenshots and such so folks can get a good flavor of the resource/models before they link out.

Also comments (as you can see below) tend to get buried - so if you add it to the forum it can easily be found by folks who join later!!

Comment by Helen on November 8, 2009 at 4:47pm: Does your school have Google Earth 5? Many more capabilities, like using local files so you do not use bandwidth. So you could post a student video or audio file. Also, the ability to create a video of your tour. I am getting Google 5 sometime soon. Our district has not upgraded to Google Earth 5 because of the bandwidth requirements.

I will be working on an example for a professional development session, so then I can post an example.

Comment by Helen on November 6, 2009 at 8:50am: I just tried embedding voicethreads into google earth, and that works as well. So, students can create little voicethread presentations with audio, and it can be placed in google earth.
