Making Curriculum Pop

Coming soon to a PBS channel near you: prowling tigers, a geodesic aquaculture dome and toy-like panda cubs.

These are some stars of the upcoming series “EARTH – A New Wild,” which airs internationally starting February 4. (check your local listings for the exact day, time and channel in your area) With them are the villagers who live in the midst of big cats, futuristic fish farmers and scientists training captive-bred panda cubs to survive in the wild.

It’s a new view of the wild, illuminating the interactions between humans and the natural world.

The series’ host, ecologist M. Sanjayan, sought to explore that relationship, which he found missing from other nature documentaries. (SOURCE)
