Hi, Jerry. Good to see you here.
I enjoyed your talk on voice at the Wildcat Comic Con and plan to relate how you developed some of your Mama's Boyz characters to my students. In fact, driving to school this morning, I was thinking about how you said the grandmother in your books is never around because she is one of those super-involved retirees. Gave me a chuckle. :-)
I hope you'll be able to work something out with Scholastic.

Howdy Jerry!
Great to have you here!
Since you're an arts person you should consider joining the Art and Visual Cultures , Popular Music and/or the Making Drama POP! group.
You might also dig the Graphic Novels & Media Education groups!
At the top of the group there should be an little + sign similar to the one in the Middle School group (image below) that says "+Join Middle School Group." Easy stuff.
Good Vibes,
Ryan

Jerry, yeah, I checked out the website when you reached out on FB - it looks cool and was duly added to my infinite Amazon wish list. I envy your talent and vision! how cool is that that you had a chance to collaborate with your son? You know you can totally do a blog post about it in the adolescent lit discussion group (above the comments) - as long as you don't write it up like a used car ad is is great to share and promote your work!
