My question the the group is this: Does anyone have (or know we i can retreive) a guide to how to read a graphic novel. A skill we might take for granted, when we read PERSEPOLIS in the ninth grade last year some… Continue

Good day,
I picked interest in you after going through your short profile and demanding it is necessary for me to write to you immediately. I have something very important to discuss with you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on (kristinageorgieva480@gmail.com) for full details.
Best regards,
Kristalina Georgieva.

Seb,
Ning Brad Snyder. Ryan has also taught graphic novels,too...Maus particularly. You need to scaffold using them, so they GET IT. Brad is DC at Fenton HS in Illinois and had a teacher develop a LP using graphic novels and I am sure he can help in a much more detailed manner.

Hey Sebastian. Thank you for taking charge at the Comic Con Teaching with Graphic Novel panel last night. I am looking forward to starting to teach using graphic novels and you all inspired me. I teach 8th grade spec. ed. at a middle school in Brooklyn. Do you have any other resources that I should look at? Also, you mentioned something about a powerpoint presentation to introduce the comic book style writing. I was wondering if I can get a copy of that if you don't mind parting with it. I want to start MAUS when we get to WWII in S.S. class. Very excited to get some new ideas.
