Making Curriculum Pop

I am looking for engaging short stories, speeches, poems, or a section from a longer text on the theme of REVOLUTION  to use for a 10th grade English class.   THe students are English Language learners who are studying revolution in global history. Most read at a 2nd-5th grade level.  I am particularly interested in finding something related to the Mexican Revolution, but the texts could be related to any revolutionary movement, although I would prefer to stay away from the AMerican Revolution.  Please send ideas!  Texts that more challenging than 5th grade are OK, too.  Thanks.

Langston Hughes "I, Too, Sing America"  calling for a revolution in thought.  Who is an American?
Maya Angelou "And Still I Rise"

"America" by Claude McKay

Students could read, discuss all three poems, and then pattern a poem of their choice, using facts from what they are learning in global history.
