Hooray for moms who are also teachers.

I saw this article and plan to add it to a unit I'm teaching on bias in textbooks. I'm listing some of the resources I've gathered for those who might want to use them. I'm in the middle of creating an analysis form for my students who struggle with analysis. If you want a copy, let me know and I'll add it when I'm done.

Of course we will also look at the textbooks at our school and analyze them according to the "Seven Forms" above. And now I have another article to add to my list. So sad. But, cynical me,  I'm sure there are more.

Shirley - thank you so much for sharing these!!!! I'll try to cross post this (with your credit) at the other places I posted this!  Can you tell us how the unit goes when you're done. You know a cool post in the discussion forum of this group (no pressure). Thanks so much!

Shirley, I concur with Ryan, expressing thanks for sharing ways to use this video as a teaching moment.  I, too, appreciate your sharing resources for developing lessons and will share your recommendation on my posts.
