I'm looking for some articles on visual learners - simple studies.  Any ideas?

Hi Beth, can you post that question up above in the discussion forum? That way it has a url (See below) and I can share it on Crowdsource Tuesday! Ry:)

Wondering if anyone has any video clip ideas that are humorous to show at the beginning of graduate level education classes? Education graduate students need something light/humorous after being in their student teaching placements/other jobs prior to getting into the class. I have already used the Jerry Seinfeld/SNL skit, Rodney Dangerfield reading Dylan Thomas, and a wonderful video about reading from a school in Florida. Anyone got anything in their arsenal?
Thanks.

Hi Beth - thank you soooo much for directing Tony over to the GN group - of all the groups here at MC POP that has the most remarkable collection of authors and artists. I told Tony over there but as a reminder to everyone - if you have a question you want feedback on from the group post it above in the discussion forum (right above the comment wall). That way your question has a URL and a "reply feature."

Unfortunately, big questions on the comment wall are not easy to respond to and get buried over time.

When you post your ? in a special interest group discussion forum - your "affinity group" peeps can give you feedback. Because forum ?s have URLs it will be in there for the next person with a similar ? AND I can broadcast the question to the whole Ning on crowdsource Tuesday.

Thanks to both of you for getting in the mix - as always - feel free to share more cool ?'s and ideas!

RRG:)

I'm preparing the curriculum for a course this next summer to be titled "Literature of the Graphic Word." The content will be the lit base in graphic novels and comics, history of comics, and how to use graphic literature in remediation of ESL students. I'm also working on one for the Literature of War, and I'd love to have input for suggestions in content and lesson plans.

The call for papers and complete description with link can be found on my blogs (here at MCP) and at http://runderhile.wordpress.com/2010/04/06/peace-studies-conference...
