Making Curriculum Pop

Here's a link to my blog post about a comics assessment activity:

... featuring notes, comments, & artwork by participating teachers.

(Yes, I adapted this activity from Ryan's famous "Did You Read" quiz!)

Marek,
This is a really cool assessment. (I like the orginal one too.) I would like to try to adapt it to before-during-after learning a concept or a unit of study. Any chance you might post a printable version? I, sadly, do not possess the computer skills to make those slightly wavy lines and cool little dots.
Thanks! Those aren't computer skills, they're grab-a-piece-of-paper-and-draw-quick-boxes-during-the-keynote-speech skillz! I imagine you could replicate it via Word by creating a 3x2 table & finessing the borders, which would of course be ruler-straight computer-drawn lines! I'll post A PDF if the inspiration strikes me just so!
Inspiration strikes! (See attached PDF for a printable general use template)

Well, okay, inspiration is perhaps too strong a word...
Wow! Free-hand wavy lines and cute little dots. Now, I'm even more impressed. I certainly couldn't do that. Thanks for the computer version. I might have been able to duplicate that one with an hour of quiet time and bottle of White-Out. Thank you - thank you!
