Here's a new video about NH native John Wingate Weeks & the significance of his legislative legacy... a bit of history, ecology, economics, comics, music, literacy, and digital video technology work all rolled into one:

• As the video says, a good chunk of the lyrics (the chorus, actually) come directly out of the 1911 congressional record. 
• The comics come from my work with the Weeks Act Centennial here in NH. 
• The photos come from Plymouth State's extensive online gallery "Protecting the Forests: The Weeks Act of 1911." 
• The Maine logging videos come from the Library of Congress's "American Memory" collection.
