Thanks so much for sharing this, Jo. The three previous posts actually focused more on critical and media literacy--and one can find them and several other posts on teaching with the medium by clicking on the "comics" category/tag.

But two of the better 2012 titles for classrooms I intentionally did not include as I wrote the Teaching Guides for them (they're available as free downloads), and it seemed like conflict-of-interest to cite them. They are:
