I may have mentioned this in the Ning before, but I read through an excellent book this summer that really speaks to this topic: Adventures in Graphica by Terry Thompson. It doesn't just go into the issues about appealing to boys; it talks about how graphica appeals to everyone and gives excellent lesson ideas, printouts, etc. that you can use right away with the kids. I can't wait to get back in the fall and bust some of Terry's moves!!
