Those CRYING Presidents (on TIME Magazine's covers)

                                                    First, it was Ronald Reagan on the cover of the March 15, 2007 issue, and then this week, TIME has Abe Lincoln crying (April 14, 2011). 

Of interest (to me) is how the cover photo was credited. 


Obviously altered, neither president was photographed crying: the tear has been digitally inserted--but would your students know that?
