"Trip to Bountiful" Heads to TV
This year’s Tony Award-nominated revival "The Trip to Bountiful" will premiere as a TV adaptation on Lifetime in 2014. (date tba) The film stars original cast members Cicely Tyson and Vanessa Williams, who are joined by Blair Underwood, alongside Keke Palmer. The inspiring story of one woman’s quest to reconnect with her past was written by Horton Foote and set during the final years of the Jim Crow South.
