Making Curriculum Pop

The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) has premiered a new series "Master Class." (Sunday nights, check local listings for the channel and time in your area.) The talk show host says she wanted to create "a series where we would be able to offer some of the most iconic artists of our time a chance to share what they know for sure."

The season premiered May 11 with Justin Timberlake sharing his stories about growing up and his musical influences, which he has never revealed publicly before.

Timberlake will be followed by Whoopi Goldberg, Tim McGraw, Robin Roberts, Lionel Richie, Barbara Walters, Vanessa Williams, Billy Bob Thornton and Sharon Stone, Hit Fix reported.

The stars called masters will be sharing the greatest lessons they have learned from triumphs and failures to disappointments and heartbreaks, Winfrey's website Oprah reported.
