FILM: Global A Go-Go with The Bard

This weekend Nicole and I went to the Film Society of Lincoln Center to see a screening of Cabaret as part of their movie musical weekend. The FSLC publishes Film Comment and has the second most comfortable screening theatre in NYC (the most comfortable, in my opinion, is the IFC film center in the village). At any rate, when we were there we checked out their schedule and BOOM they're presenting a Shakespeare on the International Screen series this month. While some of the films listed we ALL know about, there are a lot of interesting international versions I was not aware of.
