Homer Simpson discovered Higgs Boson 14 years before scientists proved its existence

Homer Simpson is more famous for his love for doughnuts in comparison to Mathematics and in a 1998 episode of the popular American TV series “The Simpsons” named “The Wizard of Evergreen Terrace” he was seen working on an equation in front of the blackboard. This particular equation was about the mass of Higgs boson and science author Simon Singh believes that Homer has found it before the CERN scientists could. Details here.
