Ten Ways to Teach the Oscars

Doing the Math – Compare the Oscar nominees to the lists made by Times film critics, “And the Nominees Should Be” Determine how many of the Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress nominees also made each critic’s list. Compute the percentage that each critic “agrees” with the Academy for each category. Determine which critic is most in overall agreement with the Academy’s nominees.
