The Math Midway traveling exhibit is a FREE event that will be held in New York City on June 14, 2009. Math Midway is an interactive, hands-on tour of a variety of exciting and surprising mathematical ideas, principles, games and activities. The individual exhibits within the show are presented with a midway/carnival style, and generally concern mathematics related to an event or activity you can find in a typical carnival, fair or circus setting.
The exhibition is appropriate for all ages and will be held at Washington Square Park, located at Fifth Avenue and West 4th Street, Manhattan. The exhibition will take place on June 14, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Please visit http://mathmidway.org/index.html for further information.
