NASA contest: The Institute for Global Environmental Strategies invites educators to submit their best examples of using NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope for science, technology, engineering or mathematics education. Winning educators will have their entry featured online in the Top Stars Showcase and receive a high-quality photo print of a Hubble image, an invitation to attend a special briefing by a Hubble scientist or engineer and recognition as Top Stars on NASA Web sites. The top 10 overall winning entries will receive, in addition to aforementioned awards: an official letter of commendation from NASA; an interview for a feature article on nasa.gov (individual articles are planned featuring each educator or team of educators); and an invitation to present their entry to other educators nationwide over the NASA Digital Learning Network. K–12 educators can apply. The contest is open to individuals and teams of up to four people.
