Making Curriculum Pop

RESOURCE COLLECTION: Top Ten "Maths" Resources from The Guardian (UK) Teacher Network

A simple copy and paste on this e-mail blast from The Guardian (UK) Teacher Network...

January has been something of an unofficial maths month on GTN.
We began a tribute to the subject a few weeks ago with the launch of our new maths hub. Bringing together our top resources and blogs with maths news and data from the rest of the Guardian, the hub is a one-stop shop for maths teachers and students.

And, to celebrate the launch of this new section, we’ve published lots of exciting maths-related content. In Musical maths: teaching mode, median and mean Matt Dix explains why he’s singing his way through the curriculum in the style of Daft Punk. There are more creative ideas in Alan Gillespie’s blog post Where couplets meet calculations: combining maths and poetry in class. Plus there’s a round up of resources in How to teach... maths creatively.

If you have any maths resources of your own that you would like to share with our community, you can upload those here
