Westboro teacher suspended for showing Eminem rap video

An Eminem hip-hop music video landed a Westboro teacher in hot water, prompting her suspension and a police investigation after she showed a clip in a seventh-grade media analysis class and a student’s father complained to cops.

The teacher, a woman who has worked at the school for 10 years, was asked not to return to school until police and the administration complete an investigation, said Westboro School Superintendent Marianne O’Connor. The teacher has no disciplinary history, O’Connor said.

“This was during a media analysis section,” O’Connor said. “There were a couple clips, movie clips or video clips, that may have been inappropriate. We’re finding out, now that we have interviewed students, that it had no nudity.”

Here's more about it.  A few comments from a student in the class as well as a parent of a student are included in the comment section below the article.

Julie - the link is not working - do you know the right one?

I went back to the article.  Perhaps I didn't copy the entire URL.  When I was searching for the link again, I saw on some others that she has now resigned.

Humm, looks like the same text as the initial article :(  Thanks for sharing though!  I hope you're doing well!
