New Media Literacy Doc Aimed at Teens

To help teach kids how to navigate our sensationalized media-saturated pop culture, actor, filmmaker, and social entrepreneur Adrian Grenier is delivering the messages of his hit documentary “Teenage Paparazzo” to high schools across the country with a unique media literacy experience called the Teenage Paparazzo Empowerment Tour. Not only will students get to examine their media consumption habits through viewing the film and learning the curriculum, they’ll have an opportunity to taken an active socially responsible role in creating and distributing their own media through their own technology.
