Making Curriculum Pop

The news is full of stories about new Fall TV programs that have commitments from both networks and advertisers.  (For specifics just go to http://news.google.com and lookup " upfront".)

All of this came to mind when I picked up today’s (Monday May 17, 2010) issue of The New York Times. In the main section, there is a full page promoting FOX programs. In the Business section, there are several ads touting the upfronts: one of them is a full page ad by NBC/U. (Both the FOX & NBC full page ads are also in today's issue of The Wall Street Journal)

This leads me to ask, who teaches about upfronts? I am going to assume it is covered in the economics of television in college. How about K-12? Anybody?

PS the Tuesday May 18 edition of the NYT offers this Upfronts 101 backgrounder, as well as this full page ad touting ABC's new season.
