Great find, Frank! Folks who are interested in the intersections of media literacy, news literacy, and the science classroom might also want to check out an excellent book written by two Irish educators: DEVELOPING SCIENTIFIC LITERACY: USING NEWS MEDIA IN THE CLASSROOM by Jarman & McLune (McGraw-Hill/Open University Press, 2007).
Thanks Faith. I have added this resource to the MATH/SCIENCE web site I maintain at the Media Literacy Clearinghouse. If you teach math or science, and have not yet seen the resources posted there, I invite you to peruse them.
