Great find, Frank!  Folks who are interested in the intersections of media literacy, news literacy, and the science classroom might also want to check out an excellent book written by two Irish educators: DEVELOPING SCIENTIFIC LITERACY: USING NEWS MEDIA IN THE CLASSROOM by Jarman & McLune (McGraw-Hill/Open University Press, 2007).
