RESOURCE: Media Literacy Lesson Plans That Work

This week, I hosted a 3 hour session for school librarians at their annual state meeting, here in South Carolina.

The session was designed to introduce "close reading" and to challenge the participants to create their own media literacy lessons, using a template provided by the SC Department of Education.

I created this web page with resources and I invite any educator who is interested to consider writing your own lesson plan, submitting it to me for inclusion on the Media Literacy Clearinghouse.
