Making Curriculum Pop

Hello! What are your favorite Non-Fiction sites for Middle School students? I'm putting together a Symbaloo webmix of sites I can send my kiddos and co-workers to in order to find high interest, relevant writing for my students to read and use as mentor texts...

youngzine.com, tweentribune are good for e magazines, Also the do go news websites has good information

One of my favorites that my students seemed to enjoy is the "You wouldn't want to be a..." series of online books. There are four: Mummy, Roman Gladiator, Polar Explorer, and On a Whaling Ship. Each has funny illustrations, charts, and tons of interesting facts that are well-organized by the use of headings.

Enjoy! http://www.salariya.com/web_books/pages/web_books.html
