Making Curriculum Pop

Although I updated this on my profile page, Ryan recommended that I mention it here as well.

I recently moved my How to Teach a Novel blog from Wordpress to Blogger (long story!) and as a result had to forfeit all my reader comments (and my awesome Google page rank).

How to Teach a Novel is the blog that I always wanted to read, but could never find, so I finally had to create it. It's a compilation of book and site recommendations, articles, and links to tools that can make your teaching more effective.

What's up with the presumptuous title, you ask? In my first workshop on novels I asked for a title, and the vote was nearly unanimous for this one, simply because people thought it would be the easiest phrase to search with on Google.

So please check out the site and shoot me some comments (even snarky ones are appreciated). I'm sure you'll find at least one awesome resource which you haven't seen before. And suggestions are always welcome!

Hey Keith, thank you so much for sharing this - it might be of even MORE interest in the adolescent literature discussion forum.

The blog looks great and the Reading Strategies Archive is wonderful. Also consider following Stergious lead and cross posting full blogs into MC POP - just check his posts in the GN&C Discussion forum - cross posting is a lot easier because Ning is allowing HTML!

Please keep sharing your work with everyone!
