Pre-conference Workshop – Monday, June 18 $125
Conference – Tuesday and Wednesday, June 19-20 $350 ($400 after 5-1-12)
Location: Tribeca Flashpoint Academy, Chicago IL
Attend this event and raise your awareness of the Flipped Learning ideology, a unique learning approach that has teachers delivering lectures outside of the traditional classroom via videos that students view on their own as homework. Instead of listening to lectures in the classroom, the time in class is used for active problem solving by students and one-to-one or small group tutoring with the teacher. This allows students to learn at their own pace; by viewing the video lectures at a time and place of their choosing, students are able to grasp the content in the manner in which they learn best and use classroom time for collaborative projects and personal instruction. Educators from all disciplines and across the globe are embracing Flipped Learning in elementary and secondary schools. Be part of the new way of teaching and learning.
