Attend this event and raise your awareness of the Flipped Learning ideology, a unique learning approach that has teachers delivering lectures outside of the traditional classroom via videos that students view on their own as homework. Instead of listening to lectures in the classroom, the time in class is used for active problem solving by students and one-to-one or small group tutoring with the teacher. This allows students to learn at their own pace; by viewing the video lectures at a time and place of their choosing, students are able to grasp the content in the manner in which they learn best and use classroom time for collaborative projects and personal instruction. After I Posted the conference, here is a webinar tomorrow with Jon Bergmann and Aaron Sams - flipped classroom
The topic on Saturday, March 10th will be "Flipped Classrooms" featuring Aaron Sams and Jon Bergmann. Aaron and Jon, leaders in the implementation in the Flipped Classroom philosophy and instructional model, will share their experiences with educational vodcasting and flipping classrooms.
