EVENT: NCTE New Media Gallery Friday Nov. 20, 2009 - Philadelphia, PA
For those of you who will be at Phili this year the NCTE (NCTE Commission on Media is hosting a day of interesting and innovative workshops for those interested in "making curriculum pop" through media.
Full disclosure: there are a lot of folks from the NCTE Media Commission on this Ning. Member Frank Baker did the initial post about the event, author William Kist (New Literacies In Action) is the head of the committee and wunderprofessor Jen Powersdesigned the flier below. In addition to those folks, about 10 other people who work with or have worked on this commission hang out here at MC POP. I'm just completing a six year term this year.
FWIW this crew always puts together some great presentations worthy of your time and attention should you be in attendance at the national convention this week.
Nicole and I will stop by session #3, but don't let that deter you, we don't have cooties.
