Making Curriculum Pop

Have you used Google Lit Trips with your classes at all? They're fantastic. My favorite one is the one for Make Way for Ducklings created by a teacher and her 2nd-grade class. Here's the site for more info and to view some existing trips: http://www.googlelittrips.org/

This summer I created a Lit Trip for the book The Daring Escape of Ellen Craft by Cathy Moore. It's a wonderful story for Black History Month or any time you talk about slavery and how people escaped from it. Feel free to take a look at it, modify it for your grade level, or use it as is!

If you want to create your own trip and have any Q's, I'd be happy to help in any way I can. The site also has some helpful guides.
