Dear Teachers,

I am Sung Un Kim, assistant professor in the School of Library and Information Science at the Catholic University of America. My research assistant, Laura Owen, and I are conducting an exploratory study about the use of social media for reading promotion and instruction. Social Media includes any format of social networking services such as blogs, wikis, YouTube, SchoolTube, Edmodo, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Participation in the study would involve a thirty minute telephone interview to be scheduled in August-September, 2012. All participants will be compensated with a $20 gift card.

Qualified participants should be full-time English teachers or ESL teachers at a public elementary or secondary school with at least 2 years of teaching experience.
