This is great and I would love to use a similar approach in my classroom. However, while I like some hip hop songs and artists, I really fell in love with and identify with indie music. I believe that as teachers, we must find connections to communities and mediums that are students identify with. But I'd feel like I was fronting, if I was rapping in my classroom. Thoughts?
