I'm thinking I could do the same concept with my accelerated sophomores. As students read a novel, they could select quotes they find meaningful, then connect each one to a song of their choice. Hmm...

Ann, I wouldn't just leave it for the accelerated kids - with some scaffolding it would probably be excellent for the mainstreamed students as well!  If you do use it, please do come back and share with folks how it worked - I'm sure other teachers would love to hear about your work!  RRG:)
