Making Curriculum Pop

I recently came across a science teacher friend who had not heard of the Discovery Channel show "Mythbusters." In 2006 the New York Times ran a great article about the show where they hypothesized that it is the "best science show on television."

We tried to get them to speak at Teach, Think, Play 2007 but their speaking fees were, ahum, a bit more than we could afford.

Here's a sample segment where Adam and Jamie test if it's really possible to break glass with the human voice. You'll love when they start using Ella Fitzgerald and metal singers in their discussion (see Nitro)
