This project has a focus of teaching American kids about their history. One way they've done this is by having students become the directors, screenwriters, costumers, actors, and narrators of short films about a certain aspect of history in a historical landmark-type location, like Harpers Ferry and Monticello. I was able to find student films on Harpers Ferry here: http://www.hallowedground.org/content/view/537/52/ I thought they were amazing!! The kids would love seeing these. Plus, if you're teaching student podcasting, vodcasting, screenwriting, or filmmaking, these would be great examples to show the classes.
It said they had student films on other places, too, but one page wouldn't load correctly and another didn't seem to include any, so I'm not sure how many more there are besides the HF ones. Enjoy!!
