Anniversary of the Invasion of Iraq

The ten year anniversary of the US invasion of Iraq is all over the news. Here are some resources you may wish to consider: The New York Times blog "Lens" looks back at an image (the toppling of the Sadaam Hussein statue) that was not all it appeared to be. "A Reporter Looks Back on the Invasion of Iraq" is a first person account.  And for educators: "Media Construction of War," is an excellent curriculum, produced by Project LookSharp, which will increase student understanding of the role of the media as well as war reporting and war imagery.
