Broadway hit used to engage students in history lessons

Educators in schools across the country are capitalizing on students' enthusiasm for popular Broadway musical "Hamilton" to engage them in history lessons in the classroom. Studying the play along with primary documents such as Hamilton's correspondence further enhances the projects, educators say. "They are learning at such a deep level," eighth-grade social studies teacher Justin Emrich said.
