Making Curriculum Pop

As you may know artists like Gary Larson (The Far Side) and Bill Watterson (Calvin & Hobbes) have been pretty aggressive about making sure their comics are not on the internet. Fortunately, as educators we're able to use images under fair use doctrine as nicely outlined by Renee Hobbs in her The Code of Best Practices in Fair Use for Media Literacy Education that her crew down at Temple have laid out for us.

At any rate, this website, that I think is of German origin, is the online motherload of Calvin and Hobbes comics sorted by subject. This comic below is priceless for discussions about government, politics and representative democracy.
