Making Curriculum Pop

The Columbia Journalism Review, in its most recent issue, deconstructs an image from the 2012 Presidential campaign. It's a photo of Mitt Romney at a campaign stop in Detroit, Michigan. I referenced this same image to discuss the importance of "media/visual literacy," in this essay I wrote recently for MiddleWeb.
