PBS: Freedom Riders Doc, & Education Outreach

American Experience's "Freedom Riders" doc does not come to PBS until May, but the promotions have started now. Note that the educational material will be unveiled on the PBS site in February. PBS also just announced the 2011 Student Freedom Ride--which will retrace the 1961 civil rights bus rides that are the subject of the film. Read more about all of this in The New York Times.
