Making Curriculum Pop

A UK film education site has created some teaching materials (to accompany the October release of the new film) that might be useful to Social Studies educators

Created with National Schools Partnership, this cross-curricular educational resource is aimed at young people aged 12-19, ranging from Key Stage 3-5 (or equivalent). The resource supports the citizenship, PHSE and History curricula, asking students to reflect on the rights and liberties they enjoy, and aims to educate a new generation on the suffrage movement that helped to win women the right to vote a hundred years ago.

YMI has also created film activity sheets for the film which can be downloaded free here.
