Here are some New York Times resources for teaching and learning about “the Forgotten War” and looking at how The New York Times has reported on it, then and now.

The Times Topics page on the Korean War is a collection of related articles going back to 1981, such as a 2009 story about the reunions of Korean families who were separated duri... and a 2005 Op-Ed putting the war in Iraq into the context of past U.S. militar..., including the war in Korea.

Historical front pages and articles include the following. Other articles from the time can be found by searching the Times archives. (Delivery subscribers can see 100 archival articles a month for free – and teachers can subscribe at adiscounted rate; your school may also provide access through Proquest.)
