I wanted to let you know that I am teaching American Born Chinese to high school seniors at my school in Massachusetts. I have been for the past two years as part of a graphic novel curriculum--yes! an entirely graphic novel curriculum! Anyway, this year I am teaching the book online with my seniors so that we can conduct a cross-grade collaboration with my colleague and his grade eight students.My 12th graders are going to engage with 8th graders in discussion about your book. If you Google "Masco Graphic Novel" you can find the link to our ning site where the older kids are currently discussing your book.
