Making Curriculum Pop

Another great one from the June 8, 2009 New Yorker - especially if you're teaching history (of the world, art or media) ... They usually pull the cartoon galleries when the new issue comes out. From there they tag the images and add them to the totally awesome cartoonbank.com where you have to pay for jpegs without digital watermarks.

So here I offer you this JPEG sans watermark "for educational use only!"

love this! :) great for media literacy and comics, especially if blending with social studies across disciplines! thanks ryan!
My pleasure! :)
I would like to offer the current cover of REASON magazine (July 09) as another image worth using and having students deconstruct.
