CURRICULA for teaching Media Literacy

Youth Channel offers educators three separate media literacy/media production curricula:
PSA Curriculum: This 7-session sequence of lesson plans and curriculum culminates in the production and public screening of two Public Service Announcements.
Documentary Curriculum: In this 10-session sequence of lesson plans and curriculum, students plan, shoot and edit a 5-10 minute Documentary.
Mind Over Media: Who's In Control (Facilitator Guide) This booklet and the accompanying powerpoint presentation are intended to guide practitioners through facilitating a Media Literacy Workshop in 6 parts.  It is a source of exercises, discussion points, and connections that can be expanded or adjusted to suit the needs of a given group.

This looks great! We're having a film series at our shop starting in May on media literacy. Perhaps some of this will come in handy. At a minimum we can let folks who attend know about it.
