A colleague has alerted me to the interactive graphic novel for ipads: Operation AJAX. Take a look.

Thanks for sharing! I had not seen this new company or graphic novel format before, and it seems to combine some of the more successful elements from other online comics readers, like Mark Waid's Thrillbent stuff (which lets you click through panels in this zombie comic http://markwaid.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Luther-Final.pdf), Comixology's reader (which allows for scrolling through index pages and on tablet devices lets you flip pages by swiping- http://www.comixology.com/), and motion comics (http://itunes.apple.com/us/tv-season/watchmen-motion-comics/id28479...).

I have not been crazy about the motion comics I have seen prior, because like the author of this collection states (http://www.toplessrobot.com/2011/06/the_10_best_motion_comics.php), the ones I have seen look like poorly animated cartoons and have not been very interactive. This one looks like perhaps they have mitigated some of those issues.

Now I need to get an iPad because they don't have a version for my Kindle Fire. Thanks, Frank! :p
