COMIC/ARTICLE: NEA on Graphic Novels & Resources

This comic promoting graphic novels from neatoday is a crackup as it manages to be political and pejorative about the texts. It reminds me of the "Duck and Cover" films from the 1950s. The tone is that of a cheesy informercial - the narrator sounds like this, "for just 9.99 you can become a super-teacher who decreases dropout rates, increases your child's reading level, and stops climate change!"

That being said, it is interesting and, mentions the work of Spiegelman and Jim Ottaviani as well as a few cool websites.
