I had seen the South Carolina episode on the Daily Show. I am wondering if South Carolina should really be a state after all. Maybe it should be a protectorate or better yet, a province in the same way that Canada has provinces. I have teacher friends in South Carolina and they know I'm kidding, but SC's political leadership does make you consider alternatives.

Michael - I'm lol-ing. Yeah, but I'm living in Chicago now so we have no room to talk when it comes to nutty politicians - although we get hair style points, and we sent someone to the white house :)

I'll make a post in the small but growing SC educator group and see if any of them want to come out and chime in :)

The scariest thing about watching John every night is that it is so depressing that so many of these very scary people are in office or are ranting on the tv and radio.....but maybe even scarier is the fact that so many people in this country agree with these cretins
