Making Curriculum Pop

HI everyone,
I just discovered this forum today and find it very exciting.

I am a biology professor who makes science graphic novels (Clan Apis, The Sandwalk Adventures and Optical Allusions) and blogs about science and comics (http://www.jayhosler.com/jshblog/). My research focuses on how comics can be used to teach science and I have started a new website called Comic Book Syllabus (http://comicbooksyllabus.com/) to list comics and graphic novels that might work for classrooms in all disciplines. Right now it's just a list, but I added a message board so teachers could post lesson plans, syllabi etc. Of course, I added the message board before I was aware of this site, so this could be a case of reinventing the wheel.

In any event, I look forward to exploring this site and being inspired.
Cheers
Jay
